The Workstations

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

This is where all the threads come together: customer support, commissioning external service providers, coordination with management, and communication with other departments. In principle, this is where the overview of project progress is maintained.

SCREEN PRINTING

SCREEN PRINTING

In the screen printing department at Kopplin, materials such as plastic are primarily printed. However, it is also possible to print materials entirely according to customer requirements. Regular paper printing is handled externally and managed via project management.

PAPER PROCESSING

PAPER PROCESSING

Our highly specialized machines process paper: cutting, folding, gluing, creasing, and applying adhesive. These work steps are required to produce covers and jackets and are part of the process in the manufacturing of our Sample collections.

MATERIAL PROCESSING

MATERIAL PROCESSING

On our cutting machines and automatic punching presses, our customers’ sample goods are cut or punched to the appropriate final format. These are then processed into various collections and assemblies.

ASSEMBLY

ASSEMBLY

In assembly, the heart of our production, our Sample collections are finished with meticulous manual work. Samples are gathered and glued onto cards. Sample cards are processed into profiles, which later become our Sample cases.

WAREHOUSE

WAREHOUSE

Goods receipt including incoming goods inspection, supplying production with material, order picking, packaging, and loading are, among others, an essential part of the tasks in the warehouse.

THE APPRENTICESHIP STATIONS

1. Arrival

The first few days at the start of an apprenticeship can be very exciting. That is why we deliberately start the first week at the company slowly. You will accompany your instructors and get to know your colleagues as well as your workplace. An intensive company tour is, of course, part of it, as is getting to know the management.

2. Trainee Day

Once a year, we organize a Trainee Day. Here, all trainees from the various departments get to know each other. This gives you the opportunity to exchange ideas with others on various topics.

3. Getting to know the departments

Part of the apprenticeship is, of course, getting to know our company and all its associated departments. For this purpose, once you have settled in a bit, you will spend a few days in the other departments. In the heart of the company, the assembly department, you will stay even longer. This is where you will get to know our products intensively.

4. Final Examination

We are by your side: during your apprenticeship and in preparation for your final examination. We are happy to support you with tutoring or paid "study time." It is important to us that you go into the final exam well-prepared – because we are counting on you. We want you to stay with us.
